I AM THE ENERGY END USER

"Contract Balancing Cost” – the costs of commercial balancing and performance of contracts concluded between producers and customers, resulting from differences between the production and consumption curves occurring in each hour of each contract period.

If you want to receive an offer for the purchase of green energy, register on Reo.pl and choose the offer of producers or submit your own offer for the purchase of energy. You can also send an inquiry to:

sales@reo.pl

Prepare the following information that is necessary to prepare a price offer:

  • Until when is your current electricity sales contract valid?
  • How much electricity do you use monthly (in the case of variable consumption, provide information on annual consumption)?
  • What tariff group do you currently have?
  • How many PPE points do you have?
  • Does the above consumption apply to all PPE points?
  • Do you intend to reduce or increase the demand for electricity during the year?
  • Do you have your own source of electricity generation from RES? If so, what is the power and type of this installation?

Remember!

Check the contract termination period with your current electricity supplier.

Changing the seller lasts 21 days, Reo.pl takes care of all the formalities. All we need is a signed power of attorney.

Settlements for the electricity consumed are made on the basis of indications of metering and billing systems provided by the DSO, in the adopted settlement period or according to the forecast electricity consumption for the Customer.

The cogeneration fee is part of the distribution fee and is not related to the purchase of electricity. These funds are used to support high-efficiency cogeneration.

Please submit any complaints regarding invoices to the following e-mail address: reo@reo.pl

We sign contracts with clients electronically. You can choose from three options: qualified electronic signature, signing the document by a trusted profile or by the Autenti platform.

The invoice can be paid in any way, using electronic banking or a traditional postal transfer. The account number and payment date are on the invoice.

The OZE fee is part of the distribution fee and is not related to the purchase of electricity. These funds are used to support renewable energy sources.

You will receive information about payments and the current balance via e-mail. Please direct questions regarding the balance to reo@reo.pl

Invoices will be sent by Reo.pl once a month or in other periods agreed by the parties. You will receive them in an electronic version to the e-mail address provided during registration.

The customer is billed according to the actual consumption of electricity, using the prices and fee rates specified in the Agreement. The customer should estimate his demand for electricity as accurately as possible throughout the duration of the contract. If you exceed the amount of electricity indicated in the offer selected by you, the surplus collected by you will be settled at market prices. We guarantee the balancing of your contract.

The customer is billed according to the actual consumption of electricity, using the prices and fee rates specified in the Agreement. The customer should estimate his demand for electricity as accurately as possible throughout the duration of the contract. The unused amount of electricity indicated in the offer selected by you will be balanced by Reo.pl

Reo.pl basically offers two variants of offers for companies:

• Variant I

Settlement based on the current quotations of the Polish Power Exchange (DAM). The price for energy is shaped by the participants of the energy market. The offer is recommended for companies where energy consumption is uneven or not fully predictable over time. Balancing is carried out by the Seller (risk of discrepancies between the volume of energy estimated by the End User and finally consumed by him).

• Variant II

A fixed price of electricity throughout the term of the contract protects the business against the effects of an increase in electricity prices on the stock exchange. Allows you to predict the amount of energy bills.

If you have decided to join us, we must report the "supplier switching procedure" (regardless of whether you are a producer or a consumer), which, in accordance with the applicable Energy Law, lasts 21 days. In addition, we will also change the Balancing Responsible Entity (BRO) for the generator. If you continue to use the Reo.pl platform, your contract may come into force even the next day. We will carry out all the formalities for you, and your contract will come into force at the beginning of the next month after the successful supplier switching procedure.

The agreement is concluded with Reo.pl and enters into force on the day of its conclusion, but not earlier than after the effective procedure of changing the Seller, which, in accordance with the applicable Energy Law, lasts 21 days. We will carry out all the formalities for you, and your contract will come into force at the beginning of the next month after the successful supplier switching procedure. If you continue to use the Reo.pl platform, your contract may come into force even the next day.

On the Reo.pl platform, we sell only green energy that comes from producers who have their own OZE installations.

Electricity is sold via Reo.pl with RES guarantees of origin. This is a document that confirms that electricity was generated from renewable energy sources.

Reo.pl also has its own quality mark and 100% guarantee of origin of renewable energy, which it makes available to its customers.

A network failure should be reported under the emergency number 991. The free telephone number of the Energy Emergency Service for reporting a power failure is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for all residents of Poland - regardless of the area of operation of the Distribution System Operator. The seller is never responsible for the failure to supply energy, but the distributor.

A fall-back supplier is a supplier who has an agreement with the operator of the distribution system to which the customer is connected and who has a published price list for fall-back sales. If you lose your supplier, the sale of energy will automatically take place through the backup supplier. However, one should remember about the high prices of electricity under the reserve sale, because their amount is not regulated anywhere. Therefore, energy prices in the case of reserve sales are several times higher than in the case of ordinary energy sales. The prices of energy for the reserve sale are published by the reserve sellers on their websites.

The backup vendor will provide you with the energy. Backup sales is the sale of electricity to an end user connected to the distribution network by the backup supplier in the event of cessation of electricity sales by the existing supplier, performed on the basis of a sales contract or a comprehensive contract.

Renewable Energy Market - Reo.pl is an expert in the field of electricity trading, 100% derived from renewable energy sources.

We belong to a capital group consisting of Polska Grupa Biogazowa and Enerco, which produce green energy based on their own biogas plants, PV farms and wind installations. We have been operating on the Polish market since 2007.

Polska Grupa Biogazowa is a leader in the production of renewable energy from biogas in Poland and a supplier to international markets of innovative technologies using intelligent IT systems that support the production of green energy.

Guarantees of Origin aim to prove and guarantee energy produced from renewable energy sources. They inform the End User about the type of installation used for production, energy source (water, wind, biomass, sun).

Guarantees of origin can be resold by the manufacturer. They can also be traded cross-border. Countries applying guarantees shall keep records of them.

The current way of issuing guarantees raises many objections. The regulations allow for the virtual purchase of green electricity, i.e. separated from the actual physical product. A green energy seller can obtain its electricity from conventional sources and make it green with the purchased guarantees of origin.

A good solution is to buy energy from a seller that has its own generation installations or has signed agreements for the purchase of RES energy with producers and has the appropriate volume of energy to cover our needs.

Green energy is produced from renewable energy sources such as water, wind, biomass or the sun. When producing energy, there are no exhaust emissions, carbon dioxide and other waste, so it is environmentally friendly. Polska Grupa Biogazowa and Reo.pl guarantee 100% OZE energy. We are a leader in the production of renewable energy from biogas in Poland. We have our own infrastructure to generate electricity from biogas and wind.

Green energy is the colloquial name for electricity from renewable sources. Guarantees of origin are used to confirm the energy source. However, they do not guarantee that the energy purchased by the seller on the exchange at a given moment comes from renewable sources. Most sellers do not have their own generation installations and buy energy on the exchange, confirming its origin with an appropriate guarantee. If you want to be sure that the purchased energy comes from renewable sources, it is worth signing a contract with a seller who has its own generation infrastructure or who buys green energy directly from its producers.

I AM A PROSUMER

"Contract Balancing Cost” – the costs of commercial balancing and performance of contracts concluded between producers and customers, resulting from differences between the production and consumption curves occurring in each hour of each contract period.

A prosumer is an end user who generates electricity from renewable energy sources in micro-installations with a capacity of up to 50Kw.

If you are a Prosumer and want to sell surplus electricity produced, please read the information below.

Check on our calculator whether in your case the sale of surplus electricity produced will be profitable (generation should be on average 50% higher than consumption).
The status of the Producer is necessary (each Prosumer has the option to depart from the prosumer system). If you would like to change the rules of settlements with the current seller and move away from the discount or net-billing system, it will mean that: the generation of electricity will constitute a business activity, surplus electricity generated will constitute revenue within the meaning of the Income Tax.
If you currently have a comprehensive agreement, the departure from the prosumer status implies the need to separate the comprehensive agreement into a sales agreement and a distribution agreement.
Check in the calculator how much you can earn on the energy produced.

If you want to know the current offer for the purchase of electricity, register at Reo.pl and select the End Users' offer or submit your energy sale offer. You can also send an inquiry to sales@reo.pl.

  1. Change of seller

The new offer will be valid only after the expiry of the notice period or the end of the contract with the current seller. Thus, the continuity of energy sales is maintained.
In the case of the first change of supplier, a comprehensive agreement is terminated on behalf of the End User, i.e. it covers both the terms of sale of electricity and the provision of distribution services.
After termination of the comprehensive agreement, in addition to a new sales agreement with the selected supplier, an agreement with the distribution system operator is concluded on behalf of the customer for an indefinite period (it is not necessary to terminate and re-conclude it when changing suppliers).

  • Settlement with the previous electricity supplier

Settlement with the current seller based on meter readings is the last stage of the process. The reading of the meters is made by the local Distribution System Operator on the date of entry into force of the new sales contract (maximum within 5 days from that date).
All formalities on behalf of the End User are handled by REO. The End User does not incur any additional costs for changing the supplier. With the first change of energy supplier, the entire process takes 21 days. We keep our customers informed about the seller change statuses.

ENERGY MARKET

The PPA is concluded between the electricity producer and the consumer or seller, usually in the case of financing the construction or ongoing operation of units generating electricity from renewable sources.

Prices of the Balancing Market (RB) can be checked on the website of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne - https://www.pse.pl/obszary-dzialalnosci/rynek-energii/ceny-i-ilosc-energii-na-rynku-bilansujacym
TGE prices can be checked on the website of the Polish Power Exchange - https://tge.pl/energia-elektryczna-rdn

No, the floating price means that the following will be used to settle the contract:

- hourly price (CROsh), applicable on the Balancing Market (RB) [PLN/MWh], increased by the established margin, taking into account the costs of balancing, the cost of purchase and redemption of Certificates of Origin and the excise tax.

or

- TGE hourly price, according to Fixing I on the Day-Ahead Market [PLN/MWh], increased by the established margin, taking into account the costs of balancing, the cost of purchase and redemption of Certificates of Origin and the excise tax.

Settlement based on the above prices will be implemented according to the actual hourly consumption (consumption) of electricity by the End User.

The Balancing Market (RB) is a technical market where production and demand are balanced and physical performance of energy purchase/sale agreements concluded by participants is ensured.
The entity responsible for the functioning of RB is Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE), which acts as the Transmission System Operator in Poland.
The price of electricity on the Balancing Market is shaped on the basis of the offers of energy producers and large consumers.
We distinguish:
•  the settlement price of the CRO sales deviation - this is the price of electricity purchased from PSE on the RB
•  the settlement price of the CROz purchase deviation - this is the price of electricity sold to PSE on the RB

The formed prices are hourly prices, which means that the price of electricity is shaped separately in each hour of the day. You can easily check the prices on the website of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne - https://www.pse.pl/obszary-dzialalnosci/rynek-energii/ceny-i-ilosc-energii-na-rynku-bilansujacym
Electricity prices are determined on the basis of CROs - the settlement price of the sales deviation, applicable on the Balancing Market (RB) at h [PLN/MWh], settled according to the actual hourly consumption plus a fixed fee, which includes the cost of purchase and redemption of Certificates of Origin, excise tax and margin.

The Day-Ahead Market (RDN) is one of the markets operating within the Polish Power Exchange (Towarowa Giełda Energii - TGE). The main product traded on the DAM is the physical delivery of electricity on the next day. Trade takes place mainly between electricity producers and trading companies or large consumers.
On the RDN it is possible to trade not only on the Polish market but also on the international market. Fixing I refers to the Polish market, and Fixing II to the international market.
As the name suggests, purchase and sale offers on the DAM are submitted one day before the physical delivery of electricity. Quotations, i.e. setting prices on the DAM according to Fixing I takes place between 8:00 and 10:30 from Monday to Sunday, and the final prices are published at the end of the quotation at 10:30. This means that on Monday at 10:30 am the prices valid for Tuesday are published, etc. The price is determined on the basis of electricity purchase and sale offers.

Price is an important factor in choosing a seller, but it is worth betting on green energy. Environmental awareness should be an important element of the decision-making process related to the change of energy supplier. The choice of Reo.pl and Polska Grupa Biogazowa, which invest in infrastructure for the production of energy from OZE, means support for pro-ecological activities.

The tariff defines the method of settling electricity with the seller. It is worth analyzing the current consumption and choosing the one that fits the specifics of your business.

A – tariff for the largest energy consumers supplied from the high-voltage network (steelworks, mines, large industrial plants)

B – tariff for production companies, large farms, powered by medium voltage.

C – tariff for medium and small companies, powered by low voltage.

G – household tariff independent of voltage level.

The first digit defines the contracted power.

1 – power up to 40 kW and 2 – power above 40 kW. The second digit defines the number of time zones - e.g. specific days or hours for which separate energy prices are set (e.g.: C21 - one-zone, 24-hour billing, B22 - billing in two hour zones - peak and off-peak).

For customers in the B and C tariffs, the prices are negotiated individually, taking into account the profile and characteristics of the End User (based on previous consumption).

Individual customers with the G tariff buy energy at regulated prices approved by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office.

You will receive two invoices: for the sale of electricity from Reo.pl and for distribution services from the local OSD.

The cogeneration fee is part of the distribution fee and is not related to the purchase of electricity. These funds are used to support high-efficiency cogeneration.

Green energy is produced from renewable energy sources such as water, wind, biomass or the sun. When producing energy, there are no exhaust emissions, carbon dioxide and other waste, so it is environmentally friendly. Polska Grupa Biogazowa and Reo.pl guarantee 100% renewable energy. We are a leader in the production of renewable energy from biogas in Poland. We have our own infrastructure to generate electricity from biogas and wind.

A good solution is to buy energy from a seller that has its own generation installations or has signed agreements for the purchase of OZE energy with producers and has the appropriate volume of energy to cover our needs.

The backup vendor will provide you with the energy. Backup sales is the sale of electricity to an end user connected to the distribution network by the backup supplier in the event of cessation of electricity sales by the existing supplier, performed on the basis of a sales contract or a comprehensive contract.

On the Reo.pl platform, we sell only green energy that comes from producers who have their own OZE installations.

Electricity is sold via Reo.pl with OZE guarantees of origin. This is a document that confirms that electricity was generated from renewable energy sources.

Reo also has its own quality mark and 100% guarantee of origin of renewable energy, which it makes available to its customers.

The capacity fee is part of the distribution fee and is not related to the purchase of electricity. These funds are allocated to the maintenance and development of generation capacity in the power grid. The amount of the capacity fee is determined by the Energy Regulatory Office. By September 30 of each year, the rates for the next calendar year are announced.
